The series follows siblings Dev (Divyenndu) and Kalki (Kusha Kapila), rich, spoiled brats suddenly thrown into a life of hardship. Their grandfather (Kabir Bedi) tasks them with turning a dilapidated old mansion in a quaint Uttarakhand village into a profitable hotel. Whoever succeeds will inherit the family fortune. The storyline is simple and familiar, echoing the riches-to-rags theme in shows like Schitt’s Creek.
Despite this intriguing setup, the series quickly falls into predictable patterns. The narrative fails to deliver the depth or originality that could have made it stand out. Performances
Divyenndu, known for his role as Munna Bhaiya in Mirzapur, brings his usual charm to the role of Dev. He easily handles the comedic moments and adds a sense of groundedness to his character. Kusha Kapila, an influencer-turned-actor, plays Kalki, a woman who struggles to adapt to her new life away from luxury. While she brings a commanding presence to the screen, her character’s arc feels underdeveloped, and moments of overacting detract from her performance.
