Tiger Shroff appears to be in a challenging phase. Following the lackluster performance of his last three films—Heropanti 2, Ganapath, and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan—his upcoming project Hero No. 1 has reportedly been indefinitely postponed. The film, directed by Mission Mangal‘s Jagan Shakti and produced by Vashu Bhagnani, had completed 20% of its shoot. However, the poor box office returns of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan have left Pooja Entertainment in debt, forcing them to halt production.
Tiger Shroff seems to be facing a rough patch?
Director Shakti has moved on to his next venture, an adventure film starring Ajay Devgn, set to begin shooting in December 2024. Hero No. 1 also featured Disha Patani and Pashmina Roshan, with Sara Ali Khan initially cast before she exited due to scheduling conflicts.
This isn’t the first time Shroff’s projects have faced setbacks. Previously, Screw Dheela and Rambo were shelved before filming began. A trade expert noted that Shroff’s high fees and entourage costs have made it difficult for producers, especially after his recent string of flops.
Despite these challenges, Tiger Shroff still has significant projects like Singham Again and Baaghi 4 lined up, keeping fans hopeful for his comeback.
