The wait for the highly anticipated Pan-India action drama Pushpa 2: The Rule just got shorter! Fans of Allu Arjun have a reason to celebrate, as the film’s release date has been postponed by a day. Initially scheduled for December 6, Pushpa 2 will now hit theatres on December 5, 2024.
Pushpa 2: The Rule is set to be a cinematic spectacle directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers in collaboration with Sukumar Writings. Following the massive success of Pushpa: The Rise in 2021, which grossed over ₹350 crores worldwide, the expectations for Pushpa 2: The Rule are sky-high. Starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, the film promises to be a thrilling continuation of the journey into the world of smuggling and survival.
The teaser for Pushpa 2 was released earlier this year and received an overwhelmingly positive response. According to reports, fans eagerly await the official trailer, which is expected to drop in the second week of November. This release will begin a nationwide three-week promotional tour, building up to what is anticipated to be one of the biggest Bollywood blockbusters of the year.
Set to release in multiple languages, Pushpa 2: The Rule will likely be a box office phenomenon, appealing to audiences across India and beyond. With its gripping storyline, powerhouse performances, and high-octane action sequences, the film is expected to surpass the success of its predecessor.
10% of the footage was initially shot back-to-back with the original film. However, Sukumar decided to alter the story, which led to the film’s principal photography commencing in October 2022. Made on a budget of ₹500 crore, the film is one of the most expensive Indian films to date.
Stay tuned as the Pushpa fever takes over this December, promising a cinematic experience you won’t want to miss!
