Vihaan Samat, known for his captivating performance as Agastya Chowdhury in the popular series Call Me Bae, recently shared insights into his Hollywood audition experiences. In an exclusive interview with Filmfare, Vihaan revealed that he had auditioned for major international projects, including Ms. Marvel and Free Guy.

Vihaan shared his excitement about auditioning for some significant roles in Hollywood. “There was this project I remember auditioning for long ago—Ms. Marvel—as one of the guys in it. I also auditioned for Ryan Reynolds’ Free Guy, which was then called Mouser or something like that,” Vihaan shared. He was particularly excited about the audition for Free Guy, where he was considered for the role of one of the people chasing Ryan Reynolds’ character.
He humorously added, “I did a bunch of these auditions. I didn’t land any of them, or I’d be in the movies (laughs).” Despite not securing these roles, Vihaan’s passion for acting and dedication to his craft remains unwavering.
Working with Michael Keaton in Worth
Vihaan also opened up about his memorable experience auditioning for Worth, a film starring the legendary Michael Keaton. Recounting the moment, he shared, “I did a small audition for Worth, where I played a student’s role. They asked me to react to whatever Michael was saying.”
Vihaan was thrilled to be on set, where he had his own van and was seated with other students who had small roles. Recalling Keaton’s professionalism, he said, “He just came in and started walking, listening to music. He spoke to the director and began the scene. We started reacting when we realized he had already begun acting. Nobody told us anything.”
Success in Call Me Bae and Future Projects
Currently, Vihaan is winning hearts with his portrayal of Agastya Chowdhury in the series Call Me Bae. Starring alongside Ananya Panday, Vihaan plays the role of a wealthy businessman whose marriage with Ananya’s character, Bella, eventually falls apart.
Vihaan is also gearing up for several exciting projects. He will next be seen in the highly anticipated CTRL and The Royals, and he is also preparing for the third season of Mismatched.
