Vicky Vidya ka Woh Vala Video is a 153-minute roller-coaster of mixed genres, ranging from comedy to supernatural. Although it entertains in parts, it has its share of shortcomings.
Vicky Vidya ka Woh Vala Video offers some laugh-out-loud moments, like the “do lakh ki jagah do leash” joke and the witty exchanges between a ghost and the lead couple.

Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri bring their usual charm, with their chemistry keeping the story alive. Highlights include Triptii’s imaginative sequence in the first half.
The supporting cast adds significant value. Manjot Singh stands out as the quirky groom, while Vijay Raaz and Archana Puran Singh bring laughs with their unique characters. Saharsh Kumar Shukla as Pardesi brings depth to the humour, making these performances memorable.
However the film tries to juggle too many genres, leading to a lack of focus. The climax feels stretched, losing the energy built in the first half. The addition of characters like Sunil, Shetty, and Bulbul feels forced and irrelevant to the plot. The cemetery’s horror aspect seems contrived and doesn’t blend well with the movie’s overall tone. Furthermore, the film’s attempt to convey a social message feels unnecessary, detracting from its lighthearted essence.
If you’re in the mood for brainless popcorn entertainment, Vicky Vidya ka Woh Vala Video could be a one-time watch. With an amusing first half and a twisty second, it caters primarily to fans of quirky comedies.
